Intermountain Synthesis Center
Molly Young Brown offers three on-line distance training courses to meet the needs of people who live in areas with no nearby psychosynthesis center, and/or others who prefer to work at their own pace and schedule: "Personal and Spiritual Psychosynthesis," "Guiding Skills," and "Psychosynthesis for the Earth" (incorporating ecopsychology and systems thinking). Molly is the author of The Unfolding Self: Psychosynthesis and Counseling, and Growing Whole: Self-realization on an Endangered Planet.
Psychosynthesis Palo Alto
The Psychosynthesis Distance Learning Program is designed for those who wish a strong foundational course in psychosynthesis but who cannot attend our Training Program for Professionals. The course covers much the same content, both experiential and conceptual, as that covered in the Training. For MFTs and LCSWs in California, the course qualifies for 30 Continuing Education Units as authorized by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (Approval Number PCE 10).
Instructors are Ann Gila and John Firman, psychotherapists in private practice in Palo Alto, California, coauthors of The Primal Wound: A Transpersonal View of Trauma, Addiction, and Growth (SUNY Press: 1997) and
Psychosynthesis: A Psychology of the Spirit (SUNY Press: 2002). They are currently writing their third book, Psychosynthesis Therapy.
