The Synthesis Center
      The Synthesis Center has been offering professional training in psychosynthesis for more than twenty-five years. The program is currently a two year , ten weekend per year program with a follow up year of supervision for those wanting certification. The program provides in depth training in psychosynthesis, holistic counseling and the psycho-spiritual developmental model of human growth. Work is personal, professional and spiritual, supporting the deep experience of Self in the practitioner and the populations s/he engages with. The program is directed and taught by Dorothy Firman, Ed.D. with adjunct staff including Clare Goodwin, Ann Favaloro, Pru Smith, and John Coan. The next regular program begins in the fall of 2004. Connecticut Institute for Psychosynthesis

New York Psychosynthesis Institute
      Founded in 1978, the New York institute provides professional training and self development services in Manhattan and Huntington, Long Island, with affiliate New York offices in Glen Head and Sag Harbor and an affiliate Connecticut office in Salisbury.
      The institute offers specialized programs in Advanced Recovery, Living With Chronic Illnesses, and Older Growing, and has a separate meditation and self development center, The Dante School, in which a psychospiritual path of development is taught based on psychosynthetic principles.
      The institute's co-directors, Bonney Gulino Schaub, R.N., M.S., and Richard Schaub, Ph.D., maintain professional and personal bonds with Assagioli's original students in Florence, Italy, and are on the faculty of The Italian Society for Psychosynthesis Therapy, Florence, where they teach a postdoctoral course on the psychology of addictions. They are authors of Dante's Path (Penguin Putnam, 2003), which has been translated into Italian, Portuguese, Russian, and Swedish, and their work has been featured in Oprah's new book, Live Your Best Life. They are ably assisted by Megan McInnis Burt and Michael Follman, and are glad to announce two new staff - Richard Grossman (Assagioli's editor for Psychosynthesis and Act of Will), and Elizabeth Sudler, who teaches in our Advanced Recovery program.

Psychosynthesis Institute of Minnesota
      The Psychosynthesis Institute of Minnesota has been offering training in psychosynthesis regularly since 1979. The Program consists of two years of classes and a third year of one to one work toward certification in psychosynthesis.
      The first year is a nine month, one weekend per month, course called, "Fundamentals of Psychosynthesis." It is divided into three semesters: Fall - personal psychosynthesis, Winter - spiritual psychosynthesis, and Spring - social psychosynthesis.
      The second year follows the same format as the first year (one weekend per month for nine months). The classes are:
 * Advanced Seminar - one day per month for nine months following the same three semester format as the fundamentals course but taking the content deeper.
 * Mental Imagery Seminar - one day per month for five months.
 * Applications Skills Seminar - one day per month for four months.
 * Heart/Mind Rural Retreat - one weekend scheduled separately.
 * Supervision Seminar - eight three-hour group sessions scheduled separately.
      The third year is for those who wish to be certified in psychosynthesis. An individual contract is negotiated depending on the applicant's chosen application and developmental needs. Individual supervision sessions and integration sessions are designed for each applicant's needs.

Psychosynthesis Palo Alto
      Within a supportive small group atmosphere, the Professional Training Program provides a sustained and in-depth experience with the principles and practice of psychosynthesis. Through conceptual presentation, experiential work, case consultation, reading, and practicum, participants gain the understanding and skills necessary to apply psychosynthesis in their professional work. There is a particular emphasis upon the application of psychosynthesis to counseling and psychotherapy via actual practice sessions among the participants.
      For MFTs and LCSWs in California, the course qualifies for 30 Continuing Education Units as authorized by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (Approval Number PCE 10). See their website for more information on the program.

      Le Centre de Psychosynthèse du Bas-St-Laurent est un centre de formation et un centre d'hébergement pour personne en démarche. En 1986, Éva-Louise Hamer fonde le CPBSL où elle utilise son art dans un décor enchanteur sur le bord d'un lac, entouré de montagnes que les Indiens ont appelé Pohénégamook "Refuge d'hiver". Éva-Louise y dirige deux programmes: le Programme de formation personnelle et professionnelle et le Programme de formation de psychothérapeute par la bio-psychosynthèse.
