As we celebrate Memorial Day this
weekend it seems appropriate to recognize the early
pioneers who launched Psychosynthesis in North
America exactly 50 years ago.
Thirteen persons, including Dr. Roberto
Assagioli,
gathered in Greenville, Delaware for the first
conference, May 23-25, 1958, to formulate the goals
for the recently incorporated Psychosynthesis
Research Foundation (PRF.)
For the next eighteen years the PRF successfully
met their goals. In Dr. Assagioli's words at the
closing moments of the conference "A new era, a
new start in psychology!"
